3. SMS/Text Messaging

    We use your mobile phone number solely to send one-time verification codes (OTP) for account authentication. These are transactional messages required to sign in to your account. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency varies based on your login activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can text STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages. Text HELP for assistance. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share limited data only in the following circumstances:

Within your club: Your name, handicap, scores, and competition results are visible to other members of clubs you join. This is necessary for the competition format to function.
Service providers: We use third-party services for email delivery (Gmail SMTP), SMS delivery (Twilio), and hosting. These providers process data only on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed authentication tokens, rate-limited API endpoints, and security headers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and competition history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below.

You may:

Access your personal data through the app at any time.
Update your profile information (name, handicap) through the app.
Request deletion of your account by contacting us.
Opt out of SMS messages by texting STOP.
